DII:2e is Alfred Westholm's diary for September 1929 to the spring of 1930, the cover labelled "Ajios Fokas 3/9 1929. Ajios Akoufos 14/9–28/9. Kition 30/9–. Amathus, tomb 1–9, 28/3–". It follows his party through four excavations in turn.

At Ayios Phokas (3–13 September 1929) the party lodged in the church of St Phokas, "excellent as headquarters", and trenched a field where statue fragments lay on the surface, laying out squares named after the Greek alphabet; the excavation was never published. At Ayios Iakovos (14–28 September) the diary records the Iron Age cult place and its finds square by square. The Kition entries begin with the arrival at Larnaca on 30 September and the first day's digging on 1 October at Bamboula, where the workmen's two shillings a day is called "an outrageous robber's price". The Amathus section opens on 28 March 1930 in the Archaic necropolis between the Nicosia–Limassol road and the sea, and continues with find registers for tombs 1–9. The text is in Swedish, the find lists mostly in English.
