This fina head was once very pleasant to look at, but its face is now badly eaten away by the earth's worms. At Y, a cross-trench is opened against the preceding one, forming a right-angled cross against it. The alphabet's large letters are counted as before, towards the north-west, the small ones in the opposite direction, In Y3 three heads are found c 0,50 m below the surface:

Stoneheadl 11 cm33.
— ” — Stoneheadl 9,534.
Painted stoneheaddiam35.

In the vicinity here there are some insignificant walls, and the trench is widened somewhat, though without result (see the plan). In the surface layer next to the section edge, in Y1, is found:

Three roman lamps36.

Finally the trench is extended at O. In O2 a find is made at a depth of 0,50 m

Bronze coindiam37.

This is obviously of late date. (Late Roman)
