… collection layer. The character of the stone setting is obscure. Between the stones abundant pottery was found, which is collected separately. This layer ends at 2,30 dj. Here begins a remarkably densely packed pottery layer down to 2,40. This therefore lies in the lower part of the dark trample layer (upper level 2,25) and immediately below this. Probably the pottery constitutes a fill for levelling the floor. Below 2,40 the pottery again becomes not quite as dense. - In square E1 the collection levels on natural grounds are therefore as follows:

Ruta E1

level 1 = 1,15 – 1,70
2 = 1,70 – 2,00
3 = 2,00 – 2,30 (floor 2,25)
4 = 2,30 – 2,40
5 = 2,40 – 2,60
6 = 2,60 – 2,80
7 = 2,80 – 3,00
8 = 3,00 – 3,20 poor in pottery, as is the bottom sand. M.C. III

end.
