This study notebook compares Cypriot material with finds from Troy, the Aegean and further afield. Its cover label reads "E. Gjerstad ? Notes, pottery etc. from Troy, the Cyclades, Crete etc.", and a page inside carries Einar Gjerstad's name and his address at Enskede. The notebook is undated; the museum files it with the papers of the Swedish Cyprus Expedition, which Gjerstad led, under 1927–1931.

The first part records museum and reading study. Gjerstad notes Trojan pottery by inventory number and compares them with Cypriot shapes: a Troy II amphora "which heralds Cypriot influence", the two-handled depas amphikypellon, the beaked jug. Further pages cover Cycladic vessels from Amorgos and Melos, the development of Middle Minoan pottery, a Mycenae chamber tomb, bronze knives from the Swiss lake settlements, and reading notes on Cypriot signs and metal types. Most pages carry sketches of vessel profiles and ornament.

The volume continues with a second notebook, "Politiko (Tamassos), Necropolis, Notes, Find lists", describing the tomb fields around Politiko at Tamassos, among them Lamberti and tou Mouskou, and listing pottery by ware. The text is in Swedish, with passages in German.

The page reader shows each page's scan beside our transcription and English translation.
