The Cypriot collection
Excavated finds from Kalavasos-Tenta, Ayious and Ayios Dhimitrios and survey material from the Vasilikos valley; the project published them as the Vasilikos Valley Project series (SIMA 71). The repository is not stated in the sources reached; later secondary literature reports Tenta's wall painting and key finds in the Cyprus Museum and regional finds in the Larnaca District Museum.
History
- 1975Vassos Karageorghis, Director of the Department of Antiquities, drew Todd's attention to Kalavasos-Tenta; the project was conceived after the events of 1974.
- 1976First season of excavation at Kalavasos-Tenta and of the field survey of the valley, lasting two months; Todd has directed the project since its inception.

- 1977Second season: July to September at Tenta (up to 11 local and refugee workmen), Todd continuing field and analytical work to mid-January 1978. Sponsored by Brandeis University and funded by the National Science Foundation; staff housed in Kalavasos School and buildings at the Vassiliko Cement Works quarry. Officers of the Cyprus Survey, the survey section of the Department of Antiquities, (Loulloupis, Christou, Hadjisavvas) supplied site information.
