    Joined the Vasilikos Valley Project (director Ian A. Todd, Brandeis-sponsored); the 1978 report's author note says he had done geographical studies for excavation projects at Asvan (Turkey) and Phylakopi, Melos.

    Wrote 'The Vasilikos Valley Area' for the 1977 preliminary report, describing the valley's relief and geology.

    Specialist studies in the 1979 season (listed with Basil Gomez among specialists); a section of the 1979-80 report on environmental/geographical work is under his name, and Gomez's fluvial geomorphology work followed his suggestion.
