  1. 1886–1899
Letters to the British Museum (GR Original Letters 1886-7, 1889, 1890, 1898-9) record Cypriot finds from sites in Egypt.

  2. 1890
Published 'The Egyptian Bases of Greek History' (JHS 11, 1890, 271-7) dating Mycenaean stirrup-jars c. 1400-1050 BC from his Lahun, Kahun and Gurob finds, adding that he would not limit their range in Cyprus or elsewhere; used by the British Museum side as an Aegean/Cypriot dating argument.

Myres, publishing his 1894 Cyprus tombs, says an electrum-mounted silver ring seal showing the king as Horus with a goddess is 'assigned by Prof. Petrie to the XXVIth Dynasty'.

    LarnacaMyres 1897

  4. 1896–1900
Evans (1900) quotes Petrie's opinion that the gold pectoral from Enkomi Tomb 93 shows eight of nine pendant designs of Amenhotep IV's time and that a ring of Amenhotep IV (with Ptah) came from the same Enkomi cemetery; and his view that the sard scarab of Kourion Tomb 28 is very close to a Ramessu II scarab.

  5. 1899
Thanked by Myres and Ohnefalsch-Richter 'for suggestions and corrections in detail' in the Catalogue of the Cyprus Museum; the catalogue cites his 1895 discovery of Libyan red polished and black punctured wares at Ballas and Naqada as a parallel to Cypriot Red Polished technique.
