- 2001Chapter 16 'Collecting vases with figurines/protomes in the nineteenth century AD' (pp. 184-188): Ohnefalsch-Richter's 1886 Marion excavations first brought many such jugs to light; a third of the finds stayed in Cyprus, the rest were largely dispersed at the Paris sale of 1887 (Froehner's catalogue); the Louvre acquired the largest group; Cesnola's jugs went mostly to the Metropolitan Museum 1874-1876 (one to the British Museum, 1876), with some Met duplicates sold in 1928 (one reached the Walters Art Gallery via Mrs Samuel C. Lamport's gift after 1955). Also attributes 15 jugs catalogued in 1935 as unprovenanced in the Cyprus Museum to Ohnefalsch-Richter's Marion work.
