    Vandenabeele reports that Nys's doctoral thesis at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel would treat in detail the Cypriot jugs with an anthropomorphic face or zoomorphic protome.

    From 2011 Giessen University under Matthias Recke excavated at Hala Sultan Tekke in cooperation with Brussels (VUB) under Karin Nys, aiming at the final publication of a building complex discovered in 1980 by Paul Astrom and partly cleared on a large scale.
