The online collection shows Cypriot pottery (Cypro-Geometric/Archaic jugs and amphorae), Late Cypriot hematite cylinder seals, gold plaques with goddesses and a silver plate assigned to the first Lambousa treasure; the museum's own Kourion sanctuary excavations of 1978-1986 are the other Cypriot strand. - 1931Henry Walters bequeathed his collection to the city of Baltimore; the Cypriot-material records (42.157, 57.968, 57.969) carry this as the route into the Museum, which opened 1934
