Field diary·DII:2f·1930
Amathus, tombs 13–20
Kept by Alfred Westholm
46 handwritten pages in Swedish, each shown beside a transcription and an English translation, with the drawings on 2 pages cut out beside the text.
DII:2f is one of the three notebooks Alfred Westholm kept at Amathus in 1930, and the shortest. The cover labels read "Amathus 1930 (tomb inv.) T. 13–20, A. Westholm", and the title page gives the place and year in Greek with his Greek name, Ἀλφεῖρος.

It holds no narrative, only tomb inventories. Despite the label, the lists run from tomb 10 to tomb 23, with a page on tomb 2. Each object is entered with a short description, a height or diameter, the depth at which it lay and its number: White Painted kylikes, plates and barrel jugs, Bichrome vessels, an iron arrowhead, a bronze bird, a gold earring and fragments of ivory. Some tomb headings carry a personal name beside the number (Girkis at tomb 13, Sofoklis at tomb 12). The last page notes finds from the earth over a tomb and its dromos, with a sketched section through the layers. The lists are mostly in English, the headings in Swedish.
The page reader shows each page's scan beside our transcription and English translation. DII:2e holds the Amathus diary and tombs 1–9, DII:2g tombs 22, 24 and 25. The finds are in Amathus, finds from tombs 10–26.
