Life and work
- 1926With Professor R. G. Kent, published in AJA xxx (1926), pp. 249-258 an inscribed bowl (Mitford no. 138) and 28 inscribed sherds (Philadelphia M.5686, M.5687) acquired 'some years before' by the University Museum, Philadelphia, and said to come from a sanctuary near Tremithousha; they read the syllabic texts as late as c. 50 BC.

- 1931Bert Hodge Hill led a small University Museum team investigating a cemetery at Lapithos, the first organised American fieldwork on Cyprus; Davis cites Dohan 1932 for it.
