Life and work

Marangou cites a list of antiquities of the Museum of Constantinople by Nicole, dated 1905, as the source for the Cesnola gifts of terracottas, statues and vases to the Cinili-kosk.

  3. 1906
Published the Catalogue des vases cypriotes du musée de Constantinople (Geneva); Cobham's 1908 bibliography lists it as 'Catalogues des Vases Cypriotes des Musees de Constantinople et d'Athenes'.

  4. 1907
Wrote that some hundreds of vases and terracottas entered the Geneva archaeological museum through Castan-bey, who declared he had them from Cesnola, and that he hoped to describe them soon; Masson notes the promise was not kept.
