- 27 November 1896As Director of the École française d'Athènes, wrote to Boysset (French consular agent) thanking him for his welcome and help to Paul Perdrizet's 1896 mission, for facilitating the discovery and purchase of antiquities, and for obtaining export of the cases for French museums, 'generously swelled by your own gifts to our national collections'.
