Life and work

  1. 16 May 1878 – 18 May 1878
    Sale of his collection (Greek antiquities, painted vases, Tanagra terracottas, Cypriote pottery and glass) at the Hôtel des Commissaires-Priseurs, rue Drouot, Paris; catalogue by Froehner; sale called 'vente Hoffmann'. Lot 142 was a Base Ring female figurine with child (Louvre MNB 1304).
