History
- 1974John Coleman's surface exploration of Alambra; in 1974 he collected pieces of Archaic limestone statues at Pervolia tou Savva, north-west of the village.
- 1976First season (5 July to 31 August) at Alambra by a mission sponsored by Cornell's Interdisciplinary Program in Archaeology, directed by John Coleman. Work in sector A cleared walls in a small ravine; the occupation was assigned to MC I. A small trial at Pervolia tou Savva found a limestone head.
- 1976–1980Excavations at Alambra resumed under Coleman; large Middle Cypriot settlement buildings were cleared, with pithoi, copper tools and crucible fragments attesting local metalworking.
