Description: | Pottery black-on-red ware juglet or perfume flask; globular body with a narrow neck flaring to a trumpet mouth; arched handle from shoulder to neck-ridge; flat base; pink-buff clay with a matt orange burnished slip, decorated in black paint with narrow bands around the body and neck, solid handle and three groups of concentric circles on the shoulder; surface blackened, perhaps from over firing, and pock-marked.
