Description:

Pottery Black-on-Red ware lekythos/ aryballos or perfume flask; globular body with a flat base; narrow neck with a flaring trumpet mouth; neck-ridge; handle from shoulder to neck-ridge; buff-pink clay with a red-orange burnished slip decorated in black paint: bands of parallel lines around the body and neck, concentric circles on the shoulder; surface is pock-marked and calcinated and part of handle is chipped away.
