Ware Family in Iron Age wares
Also called BoR, Black on Red, Cypro-Phoenician
Red-slipped, burnished juglets and bowls with fine black painted circles. The old label 'Cypro-Phoenician' is a misnomer: the ware is Cypriot. Gjerstad's stages run I (III) to V (VII); the floruit is CG III to CA I.
