Life and work
- 1913Excavated tombs at Lapithos, Vrysi tou Barba with J. L. Myres; the cemetery's 75 tombs were dug by Myres, Markides and Buxton for the Cyprus Museum in 1913 and 1917 (Buxton's own share is only stated for 1913).
- 1913Published research on Cypriot folk (traditional) objects collected near Myres's excavation sites and gave the collections to the British Museum, the Pitt Rivers Museum and the Bankfield Museum, Halifax. His traditional pottery ended up in the British Museum.
