Description:

Pottery oinochoe or jug with figural decoration in White Painted ware; wheel-made; squat globular body with a carinated lower body and low ring base; wide, concave neck and trefoil rim; arching handle from body to rim; buff clay and reddish-brown slip, decorated in brown paint: two birds, drawn in outline with hatched body and solid wings face a stylised tree; band on the neck; a pair of eyes on the mouth.
