Life and work
- December 1886Communicated to the Society of Biblical Archaeology (December 1886) a note on two Phoenician-Cypriot bilingual inscriptions, published in PSBA 9 (1887) pp. 47-49; it describes them as the property of Col. F. Warren R.A., who discovered them in his excavations at Frangissa near Tamassos, shown at the 1886 Colonial Exhibition.
- 1887A rectification in the same PSBA volume (p. 104) states that Ohnefalsch-Richter points out the excavations were superintended by himself for Colonel Warren (quoted by Masson).
