Life and work
- 1963Member of the 16th (autumn) campaign of the French mission at Enkomi-Alasia, directed by C. F. A. Schaeffer, with Mr and Miss Courtois, J. Lagarce, J.-P. Nicolardot and R. Tamassia. Karageorghis's chronicle says Johnstone is to publish the oval mud/baked-brick 'beehive' monument found that year, interpreted as a collective tomb in use in the 13th century BC.
