Life and work

    When the Department of Antiquities was reorganised in 1982 and a new branch (the Branch of Modern Monuments and Museums) was created under D. Christou, she assisted him; she later became head of the branch. The branch dealt with monuments of folk architecture and folk art and created or re-organised folk-art museums (Hadjigeorgakis Kornesios Mansion, Nicosia, inaugurated 1987; Patsalos Museum, Lefkara, 1986; Yeroskipou Museum of Folk Art reorganised 1986-1995; Katsinioros House and Fikardou restorations from 1984).
