Description

A dug area at Idalion Acropolis shows a cluster of broken pottery lying in the soil in the foreground, including curved rim and body fragments. Along the top edge a wall of rough stone blocks runs across the view, with a dark opening and a wooden board at its base. A steep earth face fills the centre of the picture.
