- 1851–1852With Saulcy acquired at Larnaca the 13th-c. tomb slab of Brocard de Charpigny (said found 1844 near the sea at Nea Paphos) and gave it to the Musee de Cluny (Inv. Cl. 18 842). Merrillees notes the Revue archeologique 1852 attributes the purchase to 'MM. de Saulcy et Edouard Delessert'; Merrillees's own wording is 'Saulcy and/or Delessert'.
