    A. R. Waddell gave nine objects (figures, an oil-lamp; reg. 6753, 6776, 6800 and six more). Three published Hunterian lamps come from the collection of Laurence Austine Waddell (1854-1938); whether he is the same donor is not established.

    A joint Birmingham and Glasgow expedition under Peltenburg and P. S. Gelling began at Ayios Epiktitos-Vrysi in 1969; from 1972 Glasgow under Peltenburg alone.
