Sites
The project
In 1955 J. S. P. Bradford ground-checked archaeological indications seen on aerial photographs1. North of Salamis the photographs showed features suggestive of a portus, then inland; Megaw adds that, if so, it may have silted up and given way to the small north harbour on the present coast1. The report records further indications east of Curium and at Nea Paphos, within the walls and at the Tombs of the Kings, without describing them1.
