Description:

Pottery two-handled jar (amphora) in Bichrome ware; wheel-made; globular body on a slightly raised, flat base; concave neck with flat everted rim; pair of opposing handles arching from shoulder to rim (signs of shaving with a tool); buff-cream clay and slip, decorated in black and red paint: bands on the body, zig-zags on the shoulder and neck; red bands on the rim and handles; surface worn and cracked.
