Bichrome Figural Oinochoe
Pottery oinochoe or jug with figural decoration in Bichrome ware; squat globular body on a narrow base; narrow neck, slightly concave, with a trefoil mouth; handle from shoulder to rim; pink-buff clay and slip, decorated in black and red-purple paint in Free Field style: three birds in flight facing right, drawn in outline with hatched wings and the body and tail filled in with purple; a single band around the neck, zig-zag pattern along the handle; rim is chipped.
