Description:

Pottery oinochoe or jug with figural decoration in Bichrome IV ware; wheel-made; globular biconical body on a low ring base; wide, slightly concave neck with a trefoil mouth; arching handle from shoulder to rim; cream clay and slip, decorated in brown and purple paint: two birds, drawn in outline with hatched interior and solid wings, facing a stylised tree; bands on the neck and rim; a pair of eyes on the mouth; handle and mouth damaged.
