Description: | Pottery Black-on-Red ware jar; biconical body on a raised base; short concave neck with flat everted rim; pait of opposing double-ribbed handles from shoulder to rim (spool-like projections at the join). Made of buff-orange clay with a lustrous dark red-orange slip, decorated with black paint: bands around the body; panelled decoration around shoulder filled with lozenges, chevrons and swastikas; bars on handles.
