Terracotta miniature amphora
Miniature vases such as these were placed as offerings in Cypriot tombs of the Geometric period. The shapes and decoration are small-scale versions of full-size vessels, and provide insights into the lives and funerary practices of non-elite segments of the population eight century B.C. Cyprus.
