White Painted Juglet
Pottery juglet in White Painted ware; wheel-made; squat body with cylindrical, slightly concave neck and everted rim; vertical strap handle from body to just below rim; buff clay with many inclusions and creamy-white slip; decorated in brown paint with concentic bands around the body and base, the latter framing a maltese cross in light-on-dark technique; single broad band at juncture of body and neck; ladder motif on handle.
