Base Ring Ware Figurine
Terracotta figurine of human with beaked face lying on a rectangular surface with two straps across its lower body, possibly a child in a cradle wrapped in swaddling clothes; Base Ring ware; handmade; cradle consists of parallel strips of clay with perpendicular bar across the foot and two broken uprights at each side of the head; figure likewise made up of parallel strips tapering to the foot; simple incisions at each side of beaked face for eyes; shorter outer strips of figure may represent arms; orange-pink clay with grey core.
