Base Ring I pottery jug; globular-biconical body on a flattened base; tall narrow neck with flaring trumpet mouth (partly missing), metallic ridge half-way up neck; thin strap handle from shoulder to the neck-ridge; two relief snakes are applied to the shoulder; buff-orange clay with grey core unevenly fired to an orange to black colour.
