Description:

Large pottery amphora or jar in White Painted ware; ovoid body on a low base; wide, sinuous concave neck flaring to an everted rim; pair of opposing loop handles at the shoulder; orange-buff clay and slip, decorated with black paint: broad and narrow bands on the body and neck, file of three wavy lines between the handles, hatched lozenges and triangles on the shoulder, solid black handles.
