Description

A wide view over the excavated remains of Idalion: low rubble walls of rough stone and mudbrick run across the middle ground, with cut edges and open trenches among them. Beyond the ruins, dry open country rises to a long line of hills under a pale sky. A small figure, probably a person, stands on the wall top at the far right.

Description, scan 2
A wide view over excavated ruins at Idalion. Low walls of rough-laid stone run across the left and centre, and taller pale walls of earth rise on the right, with open trenches in the foreground. A single person sits on top of a wall at the right edge, and beyond the site a dry landscape stretches to a line of hills.
