Description

A wide view across dry, open country toward a long flat-topped hill whose sides are cut into stepped, horizontal bands of soil and stone. Scattered trees stand in the middle ground, with a pale track crossing the fields below the hill. In the foreground a steep slope of pale soil and scrub falls away, and tall grasses or reeds fill the right-hand edge.
