Description

A deep excavation trench shows a tall, vertical face of packed earth in the centre, with a stone wall on the left and a layered section of flat stones on the right. In the foreground, large flat stone slabs lie across the trench floor, and a thin rod lies at the lower left. A light-coloured sleeve or arm is partly visible at the right edge.
