Description

A thick wall of earthen brick rests on a low course of flat stones in an excavated trench, with earth banks rising behind it. On the left a person is partly visible, crouching in the trench, while on the right a standing person in a long coat and headscarf faces the bank, with another person partly visible at the far edge. The foreground shows a pale, uneven surface and a dug hollow beside the wall.
