Description

A wide view over an excavation on a hilltop, with many workers digging, kneeling and carrying among low walls of stone and mudbrick. Baskets, a wheelbarrow and a tall pole stand on the excavated ground, and heaps of earth lie along the edges. Beyond, a town and cultivated fields lie in a flat valley below distant mountains under a pale sky.

Description, scan 2
A wide view across an excavation on a hilltop, with about sixteen people digging, kneeling and standing among low walls and cut earth. Baskets sit on the ground near a woman in light clothing, and a wheelbarrow stands at the right. Beyond the site a flat plain stretches to a town and distant mountains under a hazy sky.
