Cypriot excavator and museum staff member, active 1927–1983. Excavated at Palaepaphos-Skales and Salamis, Necropolis Tomb 1. Worked for Porphyrios Dikaios; worked with George Ioannou and Vassos Karageorghis.

    At Sinda, where Karageorghis made his first excavation in Cyprus, with Arne Furumark, Klonaris trained him in stratigraphic excavation (and Elias Markou in drawing plans).

  2. December 1977
    Visiting Kalavasos-Tenta in December 1977, gave Ian Todd's Vasilikos Valley project a personal communication on the findspot of the stone tray published by Dikaios (found during railway construction ca. 150-200 m SSE of the junction of two tracks at the south end of Tenta, per Todd's text).

  3. 1979–1981
    One of four expert diggers at Palaepaphos-Skales, an emergency excavation by the Department of Antiquities directed by Karageorghis, with Andreas Georghiou (foreman), Chrysilios Polykarpou (draughtsman) and Custodian George Ioannou; thanked in the preface (p. ix).
