Conservator and expedition member, active 1961–1966. Excavated at Karmi and Karmi-Lapatsa. Excavated with Robert Stuart Merrillees; worked for Nicholson Museum, University of Sydney.
Life and work
- 1961Applied from Norwich for the post of technical assistant at the Nicholson Museum, was appointed with few formalities and travelled to Cyprus to work on J. R. B. Stewart's Karmi excavations; lodged in a smaller house near the Stewarts' with Robert Merrillees and Mary Ann (Meagher). Returned to Australia with the group later that year.

- 1960sTaught archaeology student Michael Quinnell some object conservation; Quinnell helped pack the Karmi tomb groups sent from Cyprus to Sydney (the groups were checked in a room under the Nicholson).
