- 1896Leland Stanford bought about 5,000 Cypriot "duplicates" of the Cesnola collection from the Metropolitan Museum for the Leland Stanford Jr. Museum, later part of the university (see cantor-arts-center).
- 1953Exchanged five Mycenaean vases (NM53.21-25, ex-Cesnola) with the Nicholson Museum, Sydney, via A. D. Trendall.
- 1995Exchanged part of its Cesnola glass with the Harvard Semitic Museum after the 1989 earthquake.
