Cypro-Archaic Two-Handled Footed Amphora, circa 750 B. C. , brown and red paint decoration consisting of horizontal bands, a squiggle line on the neck, and geometric forms just above the shoulder. 10. 5 in. Eleven Sotheby's hang tags from a July 10, 1990 auction were stored in this lot. Ten of these are from a single group and it is unknown if this piece is from either of these lots. Encrustations and wear as expected; chips to the rim; possibly old fill to a hole in the base.
