Pottery jug in Polychrome ware with spout in the form of a jug; ovoid body with broad, pedestal-like foot; conical neck splaying outwards to everted rim; moulded ridge at transition from body to neck; double strap handle from shoulder to just below; flat clay thumb-grip projecting above handle, possibly imitating a metal prototype; red-brown clay and white to cream slip; jug attachment consists of a simple spout with splaying rim, similar in clay type to main vessel; most of the original painted decoration, added after firing, has disappearaed.
