Description:

Pottery oinochoe in White Painted ware; wheel-made; globular body on a ring base; narrow concave (almost inverse biconical) neck with a trefoil mouth; vertical arching handle from shoulder to rim; buff clay and slip, decorated in brown-purple paint: vertical concentric circles with central bull's-eye motif on the sides, intersected at the shoulder with a horizontal band of broad and fine parallel lines; straight and wavy bands around the neck; pair of eyes on the mouth; single bird in panel below mouth; ladder motif on the handle; surface abraded and encrusted in places.
