Description:

Handmade terracotta horse figurine; short body narrowing in the middle; legs wide apart and outstretched at front and back; very long arched neck with pointed face and nose and slightly puffed-out cheeks; pointed ears; exaggerated crest-like mane with concave sides; long tail curled at the end; prominent breast flap extending to top of legs; orange clay with numerous small white inclusions covered in a cream-white slip; solid band of black paint on the main and traces of black bands on the back and hind legs; faint traces of bands of red paint on the front quarters and breast-flap.
