Terracotta Horse Figurine

Handmade terracotta horse figurine; short body narrowing at the middle; short stumpy legs wide apart; long pointed snout and tall mane with ends in a peak, eyes rendered in paint; downward pointing tail (now mostly missing); small stumps of clay on the body and mane may represent the remains of a rider; orange-buff clay with a cream slip; decorated in black paint with ladder motif on the front and back quarters and head; black diagonal stripes on the mane; black paint on face below the eyes may represent a halter.
